How cold wallet reference logs are assembled at Workspace Cedarcore
Overview
Assembly follows a fixed sequence designed to produce auditable reference logs from offline wallet evidence. Each stage produces intermediate artifacts you can review before final delivery.
Intake and inventory
We document every wallet type, acquisition period, and known migration. You list hardware devices, paper backups, and air-gapped machines. No private keys or seed phrases are collected — only export files and annotated photographs of paper notes.
Export collection
Device-native exports are gathered through our secure intake channel. Paper notes are photographed with date annotations visible. Missing exports are flagged immediately rather than assumed.
Normalization
Exports from different wallet brands are converted to a common field structure: timestamp, chain, asset, amount, fee, counterparty address, transaction ID, and transfer category placeholder.
On-chain verification
Each entry is checked against public blockchain records. Discrepancies — missing fees, wrong timestamps, unlisted internal transfers — are logged in a working reconciliation sheet.
Gap resolution
Unresolved items are traced using address derivation paths and migration patterns. Items that cannot be resolved with available evidence are documented as ambiguities rather than omitted.
Draft delivery
Preliminary CSV and PDF summary sent for your review. You confirm wallet coverage and flag any transactions you recognize that are missing from the draft.
Revision and final package
One included revision round addresses draft feedback. Final delivery includes chronological reference log, PDF summary, annotated transfer map, and ambiguity appendix where applicable.
